Indian Online Fashion Website Reviews

Indian Textiles and Fabrics have always been fascinating as you can blend the colourful fabrics and create a variety of dresses. There are many varieties of Indian clothing. Of course Sari is the most common, but you have others such as a pant and suit which is Salwar Kameez and cater to various festive occasions. For examples wedding fabrics and textiles are more elaborate, daily wear is simple and party wear is bright and sophisticated. These are some photos from the website that I have taken so that ideas can be used to create designs.

I have always been fascinated by online shopping for Indian clothes. The current trend for Indian clothing does not just stick to the plain old sari that one identifies, but there is a variety of clothes out there that are appealing also to the Asian market. This online shopping website does not deal with clothes but also accessories as well such as costume jewellery that blends well with the clothes. Personally I have always been hesitant in shopping for clothes online, until a fried of mine recommended me this website: http://ifit.sg/. This is a local website and I feel more comfortable shopping online here compared to other online worldwide indian  fashion fashion shopping website.
There is also a question and answer session for consumers if they are unsure and need to find out more.

I find that they have a lot of variety and cater to customers of all sizes. The designs are based on latest trends. However one of the drawbacks is that some of the clothes are quite expensive based on simple materials. I have also checked up on facebook and most of the consume reviews are favorable. The ratings for this website is popular among asian customers particularly locals and Malaysians. It also is very popular among the young crowds especially young working women and teenagers.

So how would this website be used for teaching C&T Lessons?

Nowadays, there is a lot of 'fusion' trends going on. Consumers like to have a feel of both worlds, east and west. I can use this website and inculcate knowledge in my students that western clothing can be infused with Indian fabrics to create an ethnic costume. So plenty of  designs and colourful fabrics can be used creatively. Students can use their creativity and research more on related websites to gather more information. They can get ideas from the website to further brainstorm on their projects. They can explore further in how to create designs on their garments on western wear.  So if you ask me can this website be used to teach C&T lesson, my answer would be yes as it would be a good starting point.
