Job and Shop Online website

Consumer review of an online shopping website

http://jobandshop.com

I am a frequent customer from this online website and so far, I have been quite pleased with the service they provide. One thing I like about this website is that the materials and measurements of the clothes are clearly stated. Some consumers may be worried that certain clothes would not fit them if they did not test-fit in person but with the measurements, we could make a gauge before deciding to make the purchase. The materials information also helps in determining the quality of the clothes.
However, due to not seeing the actual apparels in person, the received parcels often differ from the ones in the photographs. This could be due to the photography lighting, skills and editing. An example would be, I once ordered a blue dress from this website which turned out to be navy-blue that is nearly black color. The material of the apparels are also of average quality and tend to be thinner than featured in the photographs.
Nevertheless, this shop offers relatively affordable pricing of below $20 which I think is justifiable for the quality.

How the website can be used to teach C & T?

a) Choose a piece of apparel from the website, note the material and design.
Use the design inspired from the chosen apparel to create a lifestyle product.
Through this, students would have the chance to think how to transform a design that was supposedly on an apparel into some other products.

b) Some of the designs in the website are rather plain-looking. Students could choose one of them and brainstorm how to enhance the design to make it more unique and attractive to consumers and which material could be more suitable while suggesting a new price to match with the new design.
